Results from questionnaire

I asked 40 people to complete by survey by using social network sites to get my survey all type of target groups of people, form the results have gathered information of what type of genre of music people like and which is the most popular genre out of my questionnaire .Also I find out what people expect to see in videos and gathered there comments and thoughts.


Here, I asked if people prefer up beat music video which includes numerous shots and cuts or slow not to jumpy shots which ruin smoothly throughout music videos. 70% of people like upbeat fast music videos as it keeps them interested.




I created this question to see what type of music video they like, I asked if they likes abstract videos to see if they like videos that are just random and don’t go with the lyrics of the song or if they like more realistic videos that go with the lyrics of the track. 62.5% of people like more realistic music videos that go with the lyrics of the song.




Here I wanted to find out if music videos are popular with people and how often they watch them; this gives me an idea if people would watch my music video or not.70% of people watch music videos this shows me that at least 70% of people from my questionnaire do watch music videos.




This question was one of the most important question as i want to see which genre of music is the most popular with people in my questionnaire also this would help me decided of what type of genre of track I should pick for my music video.70% of people listen to chart music to the 5% of people who listen to Jazz or Metal.45% of people listen to Indie music, this came second this shows that Indie music is also popular with people who answered by questionnaire.



From this question has helped me who to aim my music video out and what age range I should look into and focus my video on, Around 75 % of people between the age of 16-20 answer by questionnaire this is different comparison to the other 10% of people who were over the age of 31+, this shows that people over the age of 31+ probably are working parents who dont have time to watch music videos.
